Fusion Applications supports the below delivery models :
On Premises :

Oracle Fusion
Application software is deployed on the companies local physical servers and companies.

Complete hardware server
domain has to be created. The application is accessed through Intranet for
Internet Users.

Yearly application Licensing
and Support Fees is charged based on the number of users and organization size.
·
Uses shared storage. Oracle
HTTP server acts as the load balancer. The data is stored in Physical server.
·
Ownership/Leases and
maintenance of the infrastructure will be with the Client
Cloud :
·
Oracle Fusion Application software is hosted on
virtual servers provided by the vendor
·
Provides Web-logic server domain and can be access
through internet web browser . No need to install additional Java plug-ins
·
Monthly or annually subscription fees will be
charges, with additional recurring fees for support, training and updates
·
Shared storage is not available. Oracle Built-in
Traffic Directory provides load balancing. The data is stored on the internet
through cloud computing technique
·
Vendor or third party will own and maintain the
infrastructure
